5 Resources You May Not be Using to Find a Date

If you're single and searching, you probably think you've looked into all of your options for finding a date. You've met all of your friends' friends, and their friends, too. You let your Great Aunt Bea set you up with her neighbor's son or daughter. And you've set up an internet dating profile to act like bait for the perfect man or woman.

Met somebody on an internet dating site that you'd really like to impress? One of my very favorite dates is a French-style picnic. Beautiful weather, wonderful food, wine, fresh air, and good company. How much more romantic can you get?

Be Green & Save Money: Keeping Perishable Food Fresh

If you're one of those people who cares about being green and doing your part to protect the environment, you know that one of the most important elements of green living is eliminating waste. While most of us have good intentions for what we buy when we go to the market, it's all too easy to pick up more items than you can really use. Do You Have a "Grass is Greener" Attitude Towards Internet Dating?

It's human nature to wonder if there might be something even better than what you have just around the corner. Heck, I do it with my iPod. I'm not capable of listening to the thing on "shuffle" without skipping over to the next song after about thirty seconds of play. Even if what's playing is a song I love, I want to see what's next... and what's next... and what's next. I'm always thinking there might be something better.

How to Beat the Heat

How to Beat the Heat

Large parts of the US and Canada are currently sweltering in temperatures exceeding 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 degrees Celsius). In my part of the country, once the humidity is factored into the equation it feels more like 100 degrees, although in all honesty, once temperatures exceed 80 degrees, I'm hard pressed to tell the difference between 80 and 100.
