Secrets and Tips of a Self-Professed Online Dating Expert

In life we are given opportunities to experience something new and exciting all the time. If we decide it’s something that resonates with us, we are willing to give it a try and so we open our hearts and our minds to the potential of a new journey. We are excited, a little hesitant, apprehensive and perhaps a little unsure of ourselves as we forge ahead to explore our new path but we love it, we feel alive. I am especially referring to those who are pioneers in something new, something that has never been done before. Whether it’s in business, science, spiritualism, religion or any form of intuitive thinking and feeling wherein you are willing to be the ‘first’ to do it. In essence, what all new ideas and experiences are bringing forth is a new consciousness, a new barrier that has never been breached before within oneself or in the whole of humanity. Think of Einstein, Da Vinci, Columbus and so many others who were the first to bring their new form of consciousness to light, into the physical world and had the courage to present it, all too often in the face of extreme personal adversity and persecution by the society of the day.
Deep down we feel the excitement and joy of being given this opportunity to express our creativeness. We allow ourselves to truly LIVE. This is our soul rejoicing. For when we ‘create’ something, we create through the soul and it rejoices that you have acknowledged it and connected with this inner wisdom that we all possess, yet very rarely listen to let alone create with.
But something inevitably stalls or shortens this sense of joy….it’s slowly replaced with a sense of dread. We no longer feel a little unsure but we flat out feel fear. We begin to doubt. Not so much our idea (although we try to convince ourselves that it is the ‘idea’), but what we are actually doing is doubting ourselves. We allow the fears of others to penetrate into us, to make us doubt our decisions and our choices and even our initial feelings about our creation. We begin to think that perhaps they are right and that “I must be wrong”. Perhaps it’s better to take it under advisement and play it safe, so I won’t change my mind but I’ll make some minor adjustments and keep everyone happy so as to make it palatable to a larger group of people. We convince ourselves that we are still on our journey with our original creation only we just made some minor tweaks along the way. What’s wrong with changing your mind you say? Nothing. Nothing at all.
It all depends on why you are making changes. Is it coming from you or someone else? If changes are being made because of someone else’s fears influencing you, then therein lies the problem. If changes were planted by someone else’s doubt or dislike, then you have given your power over to someone else and allowed doubt in with open arms.
I’m not saying that someone else’s suggestion can’t be valid or that they may actually have a point; it’s the fact that you have abandoned your first inner gut reaction to your creation and have allowed doubt to creep in its place.
When we allow doubt to creep into our thoughts and systematically destroy our true inner feelings, we no longer know what we feel. Actually, we stop feeling at all; we become frozen with fear. We suddenly and easily forget the joy of what we felt only a few moments ago about our idea and our creation. In other words, we’ve dumbed it down, deadening our emotional experience and cut off the pure potential of what was to be. It has now been distorted into a half-truth or a partial creation. This takes away our life force energy and it takes away the enjoyment and excitement of creating. It also teaches us to distrust and suppress any new creation that we may have in the future.
Even now writing this article, an aspect of myself says ‘That’s enough, they’ve got it, you have said quite enough, you don’t need to explain any further’. But somehow there is an inner voice within me that says ‘No, actually, I have another point or two to make, I’m not done yet’. So, I felt doubt, I disowned it and allowed my inner instinct to guide me instead. I begin to feel again as another idea or point comes to mind. My ideas and creations want to be expressed, they need to be heard. I will not allow doubt to come in and numb my feelings; I will express who I AM. Like it or not!
Just this morning in my daily meditation I asked ‘Why do I have doubt? Why does it exist?’ As I struggled in vain to ‘get’ the answer, inevitably I relaxed and forgot my question and just continued to breathe. As I was floating into a blissful state of nothingness I came to the realization that I already knew the answer:
Doubt is a game
Doubt is like an energetic virus or a cancer that only I can contaminate myself with. It doesn’t belong to anyone else, it belongs to me. It keeps me from feeling who I truly am. It keeps me separate from myself and others. It makes me feel worthless.
I know that doubt has always existed within humanity. We doubt because we do not recall where we came from and so we doubt being human at all.
Doubt destroys our creativity and our will to live
Doubt keeps us from feeling
Feeling makes us real
Feeling will ultimately bring you to yourself
Being real means taking responsibility for yourself
Taking responsibility for ourselves means no longer being a victim
And we all know that we have been addicted to victimhood for far, far too long
It’s time to let it go, it’s time to breathe, it’s time to feel, it’s time to take responsibility. It’s time to LIVE.
Ultimately, we must all come to the understanding that whatever we choose, provided that it is our choice and not influenced by anyone else, that it is always the right choice. There are NO wrong decisions, only experiences. You will find that as you trust yourself and not allow doubt to infest your mind, choices will become easier to make, creations flow more readily and easily.
It takes courage to stand up for our desires and longings – our creations; but courage is what is required for the inner awakening of the soul. No doubt about that.
