The Real Truth About Immunization And The Facts

What you should know about immunizing your child

Studies show that post-vaccinal encephalitis may be the greatest cause of developmental and learning disabilities in children today.

Currently there are a number of diseases and disorders linked to vaccines including:

  • Brain swelling
  • Neurological damage
  • Deafness
  • Shingles
  • Diabetes
  • Autism
  • Demyelination
  • Auto-immune disorder
  • Chromosome changes leading to mutations
  • Seizures
  • Convulsions
  • Epilepsy

There is information now indicating that the deliberate immunization of childhood diseases (if left alone to run its course actually helps to boost our immunity) is leaving us vulnerable and susceptible to other diseases. In a recent press release data revealed the threat of a shingles epidemic from the varicella (chickenpox) vaccine.

Three different analyses of reported cases of shingles and chickenpox were published in the October 2003 issue of Vaccine and suggest the threat of a shingles epidemic in the US due to mass vaccination with varicella (chickenpox) vaccine. Data collected under the CDC-funded Varicella Active Surveillance Project (VASP) of the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services Acute Communicable Disease Control Unit revealed that when chickenpox disease was significantly reduced in a population, there was an unexpectedly high number of shingles cases among un-vaccinated children with a previous history of chickenpox. Shingles is usually mild in children and can be severe in adults. Complications from shingles, which is caused by the reactivation of the chickenpox virus that lies dormant in the body, result in about three times the number of hospitalizations and five times the number of deaths as those from chickenpox disease.

It was observed that because the vaccine is eliminating chickenpox disease, children and adults no longer receive the natural boost to their immune systems that they received from periodic exposures to the disease. Due to the dramatic decline in chickenpox, children are now experiencing a higher incidence of shingles and it is predicted that a large-scale increase in shingles incidence will soon become manifest among adults -- a group more susceptible to serious complications.

Measles

Before the 1960’s most children caught measles. In 1963 a measles vaccine was created. Findings show that a significant decline (a greater than 95% decline) in measles began long before the vaccine was introduced.

The measles vaccine may cause ataxia (inability to coordinate muscle movements), learning disability, retardation, aseptic meningitis, seizure disorders, paralysis, and death. Some research is linking it to multiple sclerosis, Reye’s syndrome, Guillain-Barre syndrome, blood clotting disorders, and juvenile-onset diabetes.

Before the vaccine was introduced, it was extremely rare for an infant to contract measles. However, by 1993 more than 25 percent of all measles cases were occurring in babies under a year of age. CDC officials attribute it to the growing number of mothers who were vaccinated during the 1960’s through to the 80’s.

The diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis vaccines are generally combined into a single formula (DPT). Both the diphtheria and tetanus vaccines are ‘stabilized’ using formaldehyde – a known carcinogen. Each dose of DPT also contains thimerosal – a derivative of mercury – and aluminum phosphate. Mercury and aluminum are toxic to humans.

The three primary does of DPT are given to infants at two months, four months, and six months of age. Approximately one out of every 200 children who receive the full DPT series suffer severe reactions which include:

. high fever (up to 106 degrees)
. pain, swelling, diarrhea
. projectile vomiting, excessive sleepiness,
. high-pitched scream associated with central nervous system damage
. seizures, convulsions, collapse, shock
. breathing problems, brain damage and sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS)

46% of all pertussis cases were contracted by people who were vaccinated against the disease.

Alternative Treatment with Homeopathy

There is a long history within homeopathic medicine of attempting to prevent specific diseases, especially during epidemics. Since the time of Dr. Hahnemann (the founder of Homeopathy), homeopaths throughout the world have utilized specific remedies for the prevention of disease during an epidemic with the use of homeopathic remedies.

The medicines used in homeopathic form consist of two classes. One class includes those substances obtained from the natural world of plants, minerals, and animal products. The second class, called nosodes, include substances derived from disease products, tissue samples, mucus, pus from discharges, or pure cultures of microorganisms. Nosodes correspond to the specific diseases associated with the individual bacteria or virus, or the infectious material sample taken from a patient. Both of these classes have been used to prevent disease. Examples of this include Lathyrus sativa (a plant) for polio and Pertussin (a preparation of the bacteria Bordetella pertussis) for whooping cough.

As a general rule, homeopaths utilize the nosode of the infectious organism to prevent disease. The medicines can be taken during the contraction of the illness (short-term), or taken in lieu of vaccination for long-term prevention.

Conclusion

The choice to immunize your child is a tough and personal decision. In the end, you must go on what you intuitively know to be best for your child. I can only encourage you to become informed, ask questions and base your decision only after you have gathered sufficient information. Immunization does have serious side effects and risks and they are side effects and risks that every parent should be made aware of before a child is immunized. There are safe and effective methods of treatment and prevention of these diseases. Below you will find a list of references for further information. May you all be blessed in health.

Wish I had known this before I had my kids...I would not have had them get any of those boosters.

Hi Azure! Great question. A vaccine is a live sample of disease tissue however it is the amount of toxic substances and the raw form of the diseased tissue that makes it too dangerous to administer through the blood. A homeopathic nosode is made from a diseased tissue which has been highly potentized (diluted) in order to make the substance safe for use.
