Many say the people in Calgary are so friendly and down to earth that meeting people and enjoying oneself in a crowd, even when you know no-one, is instantaneous and genuine. While it may be the allure of jobs, the thriving entrepreneurial business spirit, the close proximity to the nature of the foothills and mountains that attract people to come to Calgary, many contend it is the loving and giving nature of Calgarians that is infectious and is the main factor for most in making Calgary their long term home.
