Some information about Courmayeur

Known as Italy's best year-round ski resort with high season in summer and die hard skiers in winter. The Mont Blanc tunnel offers a short 20 minute drive from France to Italy. Take a unique cable-car lift across across glaciers from Mont Blanc all the way across Chamonix, France. You can enjoy panoramic views of alpine peaks or enjoy the sun at the top of the terrace which also offers a bar and snack bar before you make your descent. Within the town, you can enjoy sumptuous dishes of air-dried beef, risotto flavored with red radishes and Asti Spumante, fondue, pasta e fagioli and carpaccio.
