Some information about Lake Como, Florida

Located at the southern tip of the lake, 25 miles north of Milan and 388 miles north of Rome, Como is known for its silk industry, however, Como has become even more popular and well known due to its famous inhabitant and celebrity, George Clooney. Most visitors passing through will take a boat tour of the lake (and yes you will be able to see Villa Oleandra, George's home, by boat). At the center of local life at the lakeside square is Piazza Cavour; here you will find everything from shopping, eating and accommodations. Attractions include the beautiful 14th century, Lombard-Gothic style Cattedrale de Como. Main courses include steak tartare, veal cutlet milanese, trout with almonds, and whitefish.
