Some information about Padova

Located 25 miles west of Venice and 50 miles east of Verona. It remains a major art center of Venetia and has remained one of the great centers for learning in Italy. A must see is the Cappella Degli Scrovegni (or the Arena Chapel) where more than 35 remarkably well-preserved frescoes by Giotto are located inside. Then make your way to the Basilica Di Sant-Antonio, a 13th century Romanesque and Gothic structure, with its richly frescoed tomb of St. Anthony of Padua. Then finally, make your way to Caffe Pedrocchi, a neoclassical landmark, where on a sunny day you can sit outside on one of the two stone porches and enjoy drinks and coffee.
