Some information about Ravenna

Ravena is located 46 miles east of Bologna and 90 miles south of Venice. It is an easy day trip from Bologna as there is frequent train service to and from. Local attractions include Battistero Neoniano, Archepiscopal Museum and Church of St. Andrea, Church of San vitale, Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, the Adrian Baptistery and Basilica of St. Apollinare Nuovo. Local specialties include Beefsteak Ortolana and risotto Bazzani, fried squid, pork liver, veal chops, baked green lasagna, and Parma ham.
