Some information about The Hague

Although not the capital of the country, The Hague is the seat of the government including both chambers of parliament and the residence of the Queen. Known world wide as the International City of Peace and Justice, it is the home of the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court. When you’re in the mood to downsize, visit Madurodam, a miniature city built on a 1:25 scale with replicas of Dutch buildings and landmarks. Spend a day at the beach in Scheveningen, and finish with a dinner of freshly caught fish.
