Some information about Trento

This charming old city built in the Romanesque style and dating from the 12th century, has much to offer. Within the old town you will find piazza del Duomo dominated by the Cathedral of Saint Vergilio. The old medieval Castello del Buonconsiglio has been turned into a provincial museum, with a collection of paintings and fine art, including early medieval mosaics. Menus are seasonally adjusted to take in the finest of fresh produce which includes freshwater fish, risotto, filet of beef, duck and other game selections.
