Some information about Venice

Venice is truly a unique and beautiful city. Steeped rich in architectural history and a delight to sight see while traveling its canals. The main part of the city is for pedestrians only which allows for better sightseeing. You can get around the city by walking through its myriad of streets and bridges or get around the canals along a vaporetto or by gondola. The main city square and the very center of Venice is the piazza San Marco dominated by St. Mark's Basilica. The city's major attractions, such as the Basilica of St. Mark and the Doges' Palace, are centered here or nearby.
