Some information about Vicenza

Palladio, one of the greatest architects of the Renaissance, peppered the city with pallazzi and basilicas. Within the classical square of piazza dei Signori, you will find the Basilica Palladiana, designed by Palladio. Another masterpiece by Palladio is the Teatro Olimpico, one of the world's greatest theaters. Traditional dishes include mollusks and shellfish or risotto flavored with squid and squid ink or zuppa di fagiole (bean soup).
