Austin’s official slogan is “The Live Music Capital of the World, Austin’s music offerings spans all genres. There are more per capita music spots here than in any other city in the US. Willie Nelson and the Dixie Chicks call it home. If you’ve had your fill of music, and it’s summer time, visit the Congress Avenue Bridge which is home to over 1.5 million Mexican Free-tailed bats (they winter in Mexico). If bats are not your thing, you may find the Texas Memorial Museum and the Texas Natural Science Centre more to your liking.
