Question:
How can I submit an article?
Answer:
If you wish to submit an article you have written, you can do so by following these steps.
1. You must be a member of Datepad™. If you do not have an account, you can create one here.
2. Your Datepad™ pad must have a photo of you.
3. Your matching survey must be completed.
4. Your article should be between 500 to 800 words, on the subject of your choice.
5. Your article must be original. If it contains copied and pasted text from another source, it will be automatically disqualified and deleted.
6. Your article must be in MS Word format.
7. Your article must adhere to Datepad’s Terms of Use. Click here to review our Terms of Use.
8. By entering, and provided your article makes the cut, you allow us to post your article and your screen name in our articles section.
9. Your submission must be emailed to chloe@datepad.com
10. The email address you use to submit the article must be the same email address used in your profile.
11. There is a limit of five (5) articles per member.
12. You are free to submit your article to other venues three months after it is published on Datepad™. Wherever possible, please mention that it was first published on www.datepad.com. If you post your story to your own website or blog, please link it back to www.datepad.com
13. There is no entry fee.
14. The judges’ decision is final.
Here’s what you’ll get;
1. Publication of your article on Datepad™ in the articles section of our website.
2. The title of your article, with a link to its entirety, will be displayed on the “what’s new” page of Datepad™ for a minimum of five days following the date of publication.
3. The title of your article, with a link to its entirety, will be displayed in the “Featured Articles” section of various Datepad™ pages for a minimum of seven days following the date of publication.
4. Bragging rights!!
