you can bbq lobster or any seafood by first making a little foil pouch with some veggies, lemons, butter, and spices*. seal up the foil tent and toss on grille for a while. (check meat temp with thermometer poked into tent then into meat) then cut open tent, put direct onto grill to make some searing grille marks and you're done. this works great for cartilage fish, such as mako, tuna, or sword steaks. don't over cook it! *my pref: season with lemon pepper, garlic salt, oregano

my question is this, why would you want to ruin the delicate flavor of lobster by over powering it with bbq sause? save some money and do that wth shrimp. If you want to cook lobster on the grill get a pan of water make sure your coals are good and hot, put the pan on the bottom rack until the water boils, lay your lobster above it. steam baste it for about 6 to 8 mins. crack the claws split the tail coat everything with lemonbutter and baste for about 3 mns. pull from heat and enjoy it withdrawn butter. serve wth a salad and steamed crooked neck summer squash cubed summer sausage and onions.
