I love to travel and I'd love to hear about the places you have been to and would recommend. I'd love to try adventurous things like a Safari or white water rafting.
Anywhere around the world is fine with me, no restrictions here.
Looking forward to hearing about some recommendations.

I have been into Adventure Travel for about 10 years. My favorite travel company is Overseas Adventure Travel. The groups are small, about 15 people, and the price includes airfare. Very reasonable! You can find them online. I have been to Tanzania, where a hippo charged our truck, taken a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti, and watched the hyenas steal the soap from outside our tent. I have ridden the zip line in the jungles of Costa Rica. I have taken weird Chinese herbs to combat altitude sickness in Tibet. About the only place I haven't been is South America. If you want adventure travel, just ask me! (big grin)

Tuna, when I was your age I didn't have the time or money to travel, but I had the aspiration (like you). When I was older (46), I took my first trip to Europe for 21 days. Then it was another 10 years before I was able to have the time or money again. Two women in my office got cancer diagnoses, and I asked myself what I would think if I just went in to the doctor and got such a diagnosis. I would have been ANGRY. Why, I asked myself? Because I wouldn't have done the travel I always wanted to do. Then I asked myself why wasn't I traveling, then? The goofy answer was that it wasn't in my DayTimer! Well, I fixed THAT!
I had no traveling companion, so I chose groups to travel with. After several encounters with matched roommates who snored terribly, I finally have gotten to the point of paying the single supplement and I enjoy that immensely.
I have to say that now I am 67, and if I couldn't do any more travel, I would still die happy, having done as much as I have. Do what makes you happy. And when you find that which makes you happy, move heaven and earth to have those experiences as much as you can.
Blessings.....
