Katarina_HD | So, you never did let us know how your anniversary was at the Couples Resort. Did you enjoy it and would you recommend it and go again? |
Chloe | We had a fabulous time! The resort is located in Whitney, ON, just outside Algonquin Park on Galeairy Lake. The setting is lovely and the service is second to none. We rented a "cabin", 800 square feet of pure luxury with a screened in porch and separate deck overlooking the lake. Breakfast and dinner were definite highlights, top notch cuisine with an extensive wine list. The people at the spa were terrific. This is a perfect place for couples that want to get away and relax and enjoy each others company. There are plenty of activities for those who want to rent a boat (we did), go hiking, swimming, play tennis, canoeing, the list goes on. The rooms are very quiet and private, and we couldn't have chosen a better place to spend our 25th. We'll definitely go back. |
