Katarina_HD![]() | If you want a simple and easy way to detoxify your body and have soft glowing skin, try a Himalayan salt bath. They say that 'Bathing in Himalayan salts for 15-30mins feels the same as fasting for 3 days'. I don't know about that, but I do know I feel completely rejuvenated after I do so. Your simply place 2-4 oz. of Himalayan salt stones in a bathtub filled with water. If the stones do not completely dissolve during your bath, simply save them for the next salt bath you take. |
ConfusedTuna![]() | Does table salt work? Thanks for the tip. |
Isabelle![]() | I am looking forward to trying this....sounds amazing! |
Katarina_HD![]() | No, table salt will not work. The magic of Himalayan Crystal salt is that it is still in it's natural form and has all naturally forming elements still intact. Table salt has been refined to just sodium and chloride which actually makes it overly acidic for the body, and causes edema and cellulite when you consume it, so you definitely don't want to absorb that in your bath! |
Chloe![]() | I tried this a couple of weeks ago and it felt great! |
ConfusedTuna![]() | I didn't have any Himalayan voodoo salt available at the time, so I thought I would try some de-icing sidewalk salt in my bath... (they said it was made in China.... the Himalayans are around there aren't they?) Anyways, needless to say, it wasn't relaxing, and I have a peculiar rash on my body now. |
CapnCrunch![]() | It appears the Himalayan salt is somewhat important, good luck with the rash lol! |
