Has anyone ever gone to an auction? Many auctions are put on to dispose of unclaimed personal effects from people's storage unit who have not paid their rent. Sad but true and kind of creepy. You should see what kind of treasures you can find in the boxes. Go to the viewing before the auction and take a peek. You will be bidding on the whole box of stuff. I have found tools I am missing from my collection, some really cool power tools, weird old tools that I don't even know what their use is and other random offerings in these boxes. Depending on how many people bid against you, be prepared to pay $10 - $15 a bin. Sometimes they can sell for as low as $5. What a steal. It's a great way to spend a Saturday. Take the kids and show them the art of bidding.
