I'm smart and funny. Really, I just am. I have a tendency to get lost in myself that I'm not proud of but, as my best friend told me, "I know you're self-centered, but you don't have a mean bone in your body." I am a good guy. I couldn't live with myself if I weren't. Also, to the point of it being a weakness, I'm the most not jealous person of all time. I suck at small talk. I'm real good at stuff that matters. Amongst those who live for small talk, I withdraw in boredom. I tell myself it's a good thing, but it is not an easy thing. As an introvert, and one who's made some use of a therapist, I have been made aware that among the Myers-Briggs personality types, I am an ENFP (the champion). Feel free to look it up. It's pretty telling.

Thoughtful. Hard-working. A winner (I am quite competitive in my work, at the poker table, on the golf course; it's in my DNA). A good person. A good father.

Gosh, you name it. All kinds of things. I sometimes have a hard time just moving. Maybe it's like this. I'm a born procrastinator, but too responsible blow anything off I've committed to. So I try to be a realist when choosing my commitments. I always meet them, but it's always a tight fit.

Understanding, humor, smart analysis, useless information (you'd be amazed at the things I know and, perhaps, shocked at the many things I don't).

Tremendous music (Rush, New Order, U2, The Who, Cheap Trick, late 80s dance/alernative - erasure, depeche mode, echo and the bunnymen - and a fair amount of metal/hard rock - iron maiden, queensryche, rainbow, killers, billy squier. Great writing (Robert B. Parker, Dick Francis, Robert Crais, the sportswriting of Joe Posnanski). Political Debate (my guy won the election). Winnng.

Bullies. High fives. Narrow-mindedness. Mean people. Palin, Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity and Fox News. Ignorance.

At this point, I really don't know. But common interests and being attractive is a good place to start.
