You can call me Laura. I'm a creative writer and an artist. I used to live in Sacramento and recently, I moved to Mesa AZ, living with my aunt. I refer to it as "moving out on training wheels." I'm 19 and trying to start my life. I consider myself a book with few blank pages and insanity as my special language. I'm a liar to strangers and a story teller to friends. Those with the luck to befriend me, know that I'm an anti-social bitch with a short temper at times, shy and polite other times, but overall determined to get work done and still have fun.

I write novels in my spare time and dream of getting them published. I'd rather work from home doing that instead of working my life away in some crummy office enviroment or behind a register. I don't have a whole lot of what people would call role models but I love the work of musicians like Amy Lee and the writing of people like SE Hinton, Stephen King, JK Rowling (Yes, I enjoy Harry Potter books, not the movies) and of course, Edgar Allen Poe.

I used to enjoy portrait drawing but trying to deal with the stress of selling my work for extra cash really killed it for me. I won't be modest, many of my drawings can be mistaken for black and white photographs from a distance. I try to draw, illustrating my novels, from time to time now and I do miss it. I hope to take art classes in college soon. I also used to Cross-Stitch but I haven't in almost 2 years.

I love watching my loved ones read my work. They look to me for a story I guess.

Writing, duh! Lol. I like to dance in private sometimes but I'm no where close to what you call "good at it" I like learning new things and I love listening to music. I would absolutely love if someone could teach me to play guitar. I'm also learning how to sew.

I'm absolutely disgusted by people who smoke, use drugs, gamble and drink too much.

I want him to love literature and maybe even do a little writing himself. A guitar player would be a plus. I'm not looking for some silly fling. Boyfriends are too much trouble to just play the American game and loosely date whoever makes the request to do so. Physically, I would like him to be taller than me but thats not a hard requirement to meet. I like a flat chest with a moderate build. I'm more attracted to healthy than that polished six pack thing that most girls want.
