I am easygoing and gentle, but have in fact risked my life for perfect strangers before. I usually live in a kind of "shy shell" but I'm breaking out of late. I don't care who or what you are, if you are in trouble I will give you my all to help. We're all human, right? Case closed. Music is my life lol; my i-pod is partially attached to my arm =) I could use up all the room I have to write here, but I don't have to. Too much. Simple as that. I could go on forever on this one, but I simply have way too high expectations for myself. It's unfair and I know it, but that doesn't stop me from trying anyway. After all, if I know what I can try to be, what does that make me if I don't even attempt to live up to it? Nothing good. Also, I try to always just "be there" for everyone I know. Hard, seeing as how that usually only works with one person; but I try to spread it around anyway. One word: "Burnout." That's half the reason I'm on here in the 1st place: to hopefully find someone who will just hold me when I snap from it all; or better yet, stop me before I even get that far.
Myself. No paragraphs needed here. I let myself go rather than see one friend go without someone to just talk to.
Everything from taking out the garbage to questions about history. Mostly though, people look to me as the rock. You know, the whole "strong and silent but by golly people listen when he talks" gag. Gosh, I'm just a man even on my best days...
Beaches. Mountains and forests are cool too, and every once and awhile I love just losing myself in huge jostling crowds; but beaches are the thing. Just this spring I was in Georgia on Tybee Island. Starting at 9pm, I strapped on my I-pod and went for a run. 4am, I had run as far as that beautiful sand stretched in EITHER direction, plus wandered all over the cool little island community. Of course, it was all in the middle of a fairly large tropical storm and my I-pod was fried, but I would do it again. Apart from that, I enjoy nothing more than talking my friends/family through things or just chatting period.
Lies. Or, worse yet, half lies. Those kinds of people should be dragged out into the street and shot. I absolutely hate anyone who messes with my friends/family. There is not one person I know that I wouldn't willingly (and knowingly) die for. Conversely, there isn't a single person I wouldn't off to protect my friends/family. "Terminator Salvation" is my all time favorite movie, and Marcus is my hero. ...guess why lol.
I honestly don't know. It's between your basic "help-mate"...(you know, someone who looks after the kids and house while I go out doing things for God and people and her, and who just holds me when I come back home nearly spent from it all)...and something more. I still honestly don't know how to describe what I'm looking for apart from some awesome woman who can throw ME for a loop; a "Counterpart." Way I look at it is this. God is all powerful, and I have to trust Him to use His power in a loving way. I WANT to have someone who can absolutely rip me to shreds in 2 seconds flat,...but who will choose not to on account of love. (That's the correct definition of love as I see it, by the way) No, I am not demanding perfection. I just want the times when they use their power to hurt to be the exceptions, not the norm. If I had to sum all this up, I guess I would say that I just want a best friend who is also willing to wear The Gold Band.
Anything Outside...specifically Walks In Woods And Stuff. Being With People...i Am Shy As Anything, And I Usually Hate People, But Once I Warm Up And Get Into It, There's Nowhere I'd Rather Be. My Main Priority Is People. Long Walks, Longer Talks...the All Time Best Talk I Ever Had Was With A Very Close Friend That Started Around Noon And Went Untill 6 Am. So, Lets Get On With It, Shall We?
